Pneumatic cylinders are similar to hydraulic cylinders, the main difference being they are actuated by air instead of oil. Due to this they contain special bearing which allow the cylinder to rotate at higher speeds in comparison to hydraulic cylinders.

Recommendations

To prevent the stationary air feed unit from rotating, a fork shaped champ must be fitted to the intake aperture.
Flexible in-feed lines must be used. Rigid tubing is unsuitable.
Use of air filters are recommended for smooth operation (use FRL unit) with these cylinders.
